" It's about time, the county and the school district needs such a program. As stated not everyone wants to work in an office or is capable of it, nor does everyone want to go on to a College. Why should they go to a college to take vocational courses? Let someone else who needs the full academics occupy that persons place in college.
I truly hope this plan is formulated and put into practice ASAP, employers in the area will benefit greatly from this program as well. Perhaps someone should begin contacting them for a possible from school to work programs for these students. I applaud your efforts. "

" What? Are most of the student just lazy and rather not learn basic math, english, language skills? Not cookie cutter students? I don't see that being a problem in India, Puerto Rico, or Germany...! They produce students who excel and have far better test scores by the 4th and 5th grade....than the student here in the states with exit exams out of high school. Shame on lazy parents with low to NO expectations for higher learning for their children. Weak parents and with misdirected non-focus is the downfall of these kids. Why does this county produce soooo many hand-on students....what's the real problem here? BREAK IT DOWN TO WHY DO THEY LACK AT ACADEMICS or the option to go on to college? "
