All the while a couple of people in the front laughing at that poor defenssless human trapped in a bass drum chamber at the age of ott. Makes me want to reach out and demonstrate a little street rage on behalf of the infant trapped inside with them. I wish they would just use their heads to hang something besides a low riding impala sometimes. The damage they are doing to that babies ears is irreversable and the baby doesn't even realize it is happening to it., nor do the so called nubbins who profess to their parents they are old enough to raise a child on their own. I counted, and there are no bullet holes in my car. There is no reason why someone can't have a loud, quality stereo system as long as they can be respectful of other people. I do listen to my stereo with my son in the car, but not to the point where it will damage his ears. The loudest thing he's heard in my car is the Jungle Book soundtrack. I would never pull up to a stoplight and blast profane music, or drive through a neighborhood with my music turned up. It's reserved for driving to work on the country roads, girls night out, and city driving with my windows up. As far as my taste in music, you'll hear anything from Alan Jackson, to The Eagles, to Ludacris (the latter only on my car trips alone). I don't think Hotel California has ever offended anyone. Keep up the good work Planet Rock!!! "

He would cruise the streets with all four windows down on that big old Oldsmobile with that thing cranked up, you could hear it for miles. I still don't know the exact configuration he used to make it work but it was the first amplified system I ever heard. You remember the curve that use to come from Armona to Hanford out on 14th and Lacey Blvd. he took out the 50 MPH sign when he missed that corner one night. When I'm in a residental area, day or night or passing an event like a wedding or funeral I turn it down, OUT OF RESPECT. I hate when these idiots come down a residental street late at night - namely mine - and don't bother to turn that crap down. It's 1 a.m., people are sleeping and here comes homie with his thumping system waking everyone up. It's not cute or funny. What these morons with the 178 decibel systems don't realize is that they are doing slow but steady nerve damage to their hearing. Once it's gone it will NEVER come back. I don't find the thumping of music from vehicles pleasent whether at work or a vehicle next to me with windows up or down. Every person disturbing the peace with this music should be cited and required to remove the offensive equipment. Not only is it offensive but it is a distraction from driving and interferes with what is going on around you like emergency vehicles that can't be heard due to the loud music. Same goes for cell phones, they have no place in moving vehicles. "

On the same comment, I said that a bird pooped on my car and my life went on, meaning it didn't matter and wasn't a big deal. I have nothing against pigeons! How is a dull thump, not really louder than my SUV, really disturbing the peace? You should really READ and then REREAD my comments to see my stance on loud, rude stereos. Mine is nowhere near as loud as the one mentioned in the article. Maybe you're disturbing my peace with your ridiculous responses to my comments that misconstrue what I've said. And if, while you remove your child from the area, you have a smarmy comment or two to make while you are doing it, then yes, you did do something wrong and if you can't deal with what you get back then maybe you should just remove your child from the smoker's area SILENTLY. Yes, I despise the way the Farmer's Market is handled too. How many of our customers have to come out from our businesses only to find their cars have been towed and they now owe some towing company over $100 for shopping in downtown Hanford. It is such a shame that people as Amanda who claim they don't have any problem with our air quality don't go down to the local hospital and see how many do, and I can bet that there are far more of them there for reasons unrelated to second hand smoke.
